Using Moodle v4.1 or higher? Please use the alternate setup process shown in this video, which requires a "product token". Contact your ESS for the product token for your institution. 



All other Moodle users (pre-version 4.1), use the instructions below.


1. Navigate to your Moodle course and turn editing on by clicking the gear icon in the upper right and selecting “Turn editing on”.

2. Find the module that you would like to add your Codon Learning link to and click "Add an activity or resource".

3. Select External Tool.

 

4. You will need to fill in the following:

   General Tab:

  • Fill out the "Activity name" with "Codon Learning" 
  • Add the URL that Codon Learning sent you by email.
  • The preconfigured tool dropdown should say "Automatic, based on tool URL". Do not modify the Preconfigured tool. You will see a small green check mark appear.

      Grade Tab:

  • Click on Grade and change Type to "None".

NOTE: If you receive the error "No tool configuration found for this URL", try selecting "Follet-Willo Digital Delivery 1.3" from the Preconfigured tool dropdown and enter the Tool URL again. 




5. Click "Save and return to course".

6. Go back into your Moodle Modules and click on the "Codon Learning" link you just added to your course. 


7. Click on the link you just added to your course. Select the correct Codon course (you may only have one in the list).

    a. Click "Save Selection." You will never have to repeat this step.


8. Close the tab, reload your LMS page, and click the Codon link again.

    a. This should launch the "Course Overview" page of your Codon Learning course.
